About Me
When my son was born in 2008, my eyes were opened to the miracle of birth: I was so amazed at how my body knew exactly what to do and the amount of strength I didn't know I was capable of. From that point on, I knew I wanted to help new parents experience the true beauty of birth.

As your doula, my role is to provide you with physical, emotional, and informational support before and during the birthing process. Studies have shown that when a birthing mother has continuous labor support, both
mother and baby are more likely to have better outcomes and positive memories than if support, like that of a doula, were not present.
I understand that every woman as well as her birth is
unique and therefore I will listen, support, and encourage you in your personal birth decisions. I will support and advocate for you and your partner in your moments of vulnerability as well as your moments of strength. You know your body better than anyone ever could, I
will encourage you to trust your body and yourself as you experience the miracle of child birth.
My goal is for you and your partner to be able to look back at this experience knowing you were supported and cared for with compassion and respect.

1st appointment

2nd appointment
- Private 2 hour birth class
- hands on comfort options
3rd appointment
-This appointment is set right before your due date as a review of birth positions, what to do at each stage of labor and more emotional, informational and physical support needed.

Labor & Delivery
-I am here for you whenever and wherever you go into labor. Home, hospital or birthing center.
-Starting at 37 weeks I am on call for you 24/7
-I will stay with you and your partner through entire birth
-I will stay with you through the first breastfeeding (1 to 2 hours postpartum)
Postpartum
2 Postpartum Visits
1st appointment
-As your birth doula I will come visit you with in the first few days you are home.
-go over any questions you have on newborn care
-help out with breastfeeding -hold baby while you take a little nap or need to shower and/or eat

2nd appointment
- about 7 - 10 days postpartum I will come with a little gift and timeline card. We will go over any questions you may have about the birth and/or any questions about feeding, sleeping and recovery.
​
If you are interested in hiring me as a postpartum doula I would be more than happy to continue supporting your family in that way for an hourly rate.
